FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022: Scores, Standings, and Points Table

Discover all of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022 match results and scores. Get your group standings and semi-finals, as well as the third-place playoff and final scorecards. From October 11 to 30, India hosted the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022. The FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup was originally scheduled for 2020, but it was postponed due to COVID-19.

The 32 football matches of the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup 2022 were played at three different venues: the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar (Odisha), the Pandit Jawaharlal Nehru Stadium in Margao (Goa), and the DY Patil Stadium in Navi Mumbai (Maharashtra). The championship game was held in Navi Mumbai.

After defeating Colombia in the final, Spain successfully defended their title, tying North Korea for the most decorated team in the competition’s history with two titles.

A total of 16 teams from around the world will compete for the title. India, who qualified for the tournament as hosts, made their FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup debut, but were eliminated in the group stage.

The teams were split into four groups of four teams each. The following were the groups:

  • Group A consists of India, Brazil, the United States, and Morocco.
  • Group B consists of Germany, Nigeria, Chile, and New Zealand.
  • Group C consists of Spain, Colombia, Mexico, and China.
  • Group D consists of Japan, Tanzania, Canada, and France.

Teams from each group competed in a round-robin format at the FIFA U-17 Women’s World Cup, and after the group stage, the top two from each group advanced to the quarter-finals.
